Storytime with Pete the Cat was groovy.

Little Learners engaged in literacy, science, cooking, music and movement at our family centered Pete the Cat storytime event.  Thank you to Barnes and Noble, Chic-fil-a, and the Warren County Public Library for working with us to make this such a fun event for our community.  Also sending a HUGE thank you to all of the families that shared your LITTLE LEARNERS with us for these storytime events.  At the storytime Mrs. Kathy led an interactive read aloud, Mrs. Allison and Mrs. Susan led the create maracas, music and movement center, Mr. Brian guided children to explore the science of sound, and Mrs. Jen and her wonderful helpers led a Cooking with Pete station where the kids got to retell the story of Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons while designing their own Pete inspired cookie.  Each activity was designed using the early childhood foundations found in our six part video series, Little Learners, BIG Ideas.
